it’s been a tough summer for la fans. Trevor Ariza left the Lakers for Houston, The sparks lost in the conference finals to the mercury and more importantly, Lisa Leslie’s career is now over. but the only good news for la other then the dodgers is the Lakers are back. Kobe Bryant has looked good in preseason and the lakers are ready for 2010. now with ariza gone, Ron Artest will have to be the defensive stopper for the Lakers other then Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum. Also, Lamar Odom signed with the Lakers in late June and he should be ready for the season. The Lakers open up at home with the clippers. Then at home against Dallas and on Christmas day, Shaq, lebron and Cleveland are coming to La. look out! But the big test is when my San Antonio Spurs come to town on my birthday! Yes, the Celtics are big and of course: the NBA Finals rematch with Orlando. The Lakers probably get out to a fast start like last year and then stumble but do get back on track. Now with Ariza gone, how do the lakers match up with the spurs, the Celtics, and all those powerhouses?
